  • 17-18 February 2014
    Direct Taipei Jazz Orchestra and present Taipei, Taiwan Master Classes. 150 students involved.
  • 23 – 28 February 2014
    Tour of China including Hong Kong, Nansha, Shekou, Various Cities, China and Guangzhou. Master Classes and Workshops. Over 500 students and teacher contacted.
  • 1 – 3 March 2014
    Asia Pacific Arts Conference (APAC). Donate three Guangzhou, China boxes of String Music to American International School of Guangzhou….value $900. Direct the APAC Middle School Honor Band Over 1,000 parents, students, and audience.

    Shanghai Conservatory of Music – Start the largest Shanghai, China instrumental music program in China…850 beginning students in Wuxi, China. One of the largest beginning band programs in the world. Reaching 850 students and their parents, about 2,000 individuals.

    Master Classes in Beijing at Guangumen High School Beijing, China Beijing, China. 50 students, teachers, and administrators.
  • 10 March 2014
    Rehearse Beijing Big Band, 7:30pm – 10:30pm at Tian Beijing, China Beijing, China Yin music rooms, in Beixinqiao 50 musicians guests.

    In-residency at Fu-Jen University, Taipei, Taiwan Taipei, Taiwan Concert with Fu-Jen students on 31 March 150 students and audience of 450 for the concert
  • 5 – 10 April 2014
    First Thailand Jazz Workshop held in Bangkok, Thailand Bangkok, Thailand at Rangsit University. 110 students. Donated $2,000 worth of jazz books and arrangements to Rangsit. Audience of 500 for the concert.

    First Teacher-Training Workshop held for teachers in Beirut, Lebanon Lebanon on how to teach beginning musical instruments in groups. 75 new teachers took the band course.
  • 29 April 2014
    Directing the Lebanese Conservatory of Music Big Band Beirut, Lebanon in a concert at St. Joseph’s University. 1,000 in audience.
  • 2 – 15 May 2014
    The first major concert in China “East Meets West” Shanghai, China between a major China Conservatory of Music and a major United States institution of higher education, the University of Northern Colorado. 1,500 in the Shanghai Concert Hall.
  • 19 – 30 May 2014
    In-residency at Fu-Jen University, Taipei, Taiwan Taipei, Taiwan Concert with Fu-Jen students on 30 May. 150 students in groups and 450 in audience at the final concert.
  • 30 June 2014
    Shipment of donated musical instruments arrives in Taipei, Taiwan Taiwan Taipei American School…value of over $25,000 including saxophone, violas, keyboards, etc.
  • 9 July 2014
    The First China Saxophone Camp in China featuring Shanghai, China Claude DeLange from the Paris Conservatory of Music. Attended by more than 100 saxophonists from throughout China. 500 individuals in the audience.

    The 5th Annual Lebanese International Summer Band Beirut, Lebanon Camp attended by over 250 students from Lebanon, Spain, and Jordan. Over 1,000 members in the audience.

    The First Lebanon Jazz Workshop held in Middle East. Beirut, Lebanon 65 participants and over 400 in the audience .

    Taichung Jazz Festival, over 6,000 in attendance Taichung, Taiwan featuring the Taipei Jazz Orchestra, and other United States artists/educators.

    Meeting with GRAMMY USA and China to develop Shanghai, China a new Jazz Summer Camp – 2015, and to establish a secondary institution of music with a newly appointed Chinese arts organization.

    Hong Kong Jazz Education Festival Hong Kong, China Two-Day Jazz Education Workshop – 500 students in attendance.

    2nd Annual China Jazz Education Festival and Shanghai, China Competition. Over 700 students and teachers From throughout China.
  • 22 – 31 Dec. 2014
    In-residency at Fu-Jen University directing the Vocal Taipei, Taiwan Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Jazz Combos. 150 students and 400 audience members.
